Training Cats and Dogs is owned and run by Kat Hobbs. Kat is an experienced and knowledgeable dog trainer and pet behaviourist. Kat holds a BA (Hons) degree in Animal Behaviour Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling.

Training Cats and Dogs provides professional dog training, dog walking and pet behaviour consultations for cats and dogs with behaviour problems in and around Bracknell, Berkshire.

Services include: puppy classes and adult dog training classes in Warfield and Sunninghill, Ascot, agility classes in Warfield, private lessons and behaviour sessions for dogs and cats all around the Berkshire area, and dog walking in Warfield, Winkfield, Chavey Down, Bullbrook, Forest Park, Martins Heron and Crown Wood.

Training Cats and Dogs incorporates the latest understanding of canine and feline behaviour in their training techniques. All training focuses on positive reinforcement: this essentially means using treats, toys and praise to reinforce the desired behaviour. We also use clicker training for those clients who are interested in this method.

Training Cats and Dogs does not condone the use of aversive training techniques which often cause pain and stress to your pet and damage the dog-human relationship. Please beware of trainers who use words and phrases such as, 'pack theory' and 'dominance' to describe their dog training techniques as these methods are way out of date and completely unnecessary.
